I woke up today feeling a lot of what is in that second list. No matter how much we think we are attuned to Him, we fall off that somehow. It is very humbling. So today, feeling despair, failure, heartache, fearful, and hopeless - plus a hodgepodge of other un-Him things, I wake up to THIS Lazaroo. It doesn't make me feel better, really, but it does make me say, "Lord, since I can't save myself from these things, let me throw myself on Your mercy. You have saved me from the consequence of my sin. Please, save me from me!" Today of all days . . . I woke up today feeling a lot of what is in that second list.
