Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:

“…sound the alarm on my holy hill.”
(Joel 2:1)

That’s the one place we don’t expect to hear the alarm, Jesus –

on Your holy hill.

We expect the alarm to be sounded

in bars
strip clubs
where drug dealers hang out
in jails, prisons.

But Satan goes to church.

That’s where his enemy gathers.

Unsuspecting.
Thinking they’re safe.

But we’re not.

Church…is where we must be on our guard

against hypocrisy
lying, cheating, gossip
cliques, manipulation
backstabbing
politics.

Whenever we see Satan’s work on Your holy hill
no matter who he’s using to do it

that’s when we must sound the alarm.
