Lazaroo – Monday, January 13, 2014
Jan 13, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in solemn contemplation:
“Let all who live in the land tremble…”
(Joel 2:1)
We’re not very good at trembling these days, Jesus.
Well, let me take that back.
We tremble, all right – over the wrong things:
finances
relationships
sports
career
health
food and shelter.
But You’ve promised to take care of every one of my needs!
If I’ve got Your Word on it
why tremble?
So what is there that’s worth trembling over?
I’d do well to tremble at what will happen
to this world
my country
my friends and family
me
unless we give ourselves unreservedly
to You.

Jeff Gregory Says:
People, even Christians tremble over health, for example., because they still see:
the young
fellow Christians
their children
dear friends
get sick and die despite prayer. On the surface, it doesn’t seem that God is taking care of those needs. When witnessing such distressing things, people tremble that God’s will may not include good health for them and their loved ones.
Every day I pray that God considers protecting the health of those in my life and others as His will is being done. But more importantly, I ask that He aligns my will with His. That is the only way I can find that peace that passes understanding.
I believe this is the message that we must get across to those that might believe. Too many have thought that they were victims of buying false billsof goods before leaving fellowship.
