May 23, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo, in deepest gratitude:
“These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands…”
(Revelation 2:1)
This verse is why people shake their heads when they try to read the Book of Revelation, Jesus –
until they notice the previous verse:
The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches.
The seven lampstands are the seven churches.
You hold each church’s angel in Your right hand
because You’re ready to dispatch them at a moment’s notice.
But what should fill every church-going Christian with wonder is this:
You walk among us.
