Nov 18, 2009 I Lazaroo.
Pray this Lazaroo aloud to God, in humble adoration:
“‘But they would not listen or pay attention to me,’ declares the LORD.”
(Zechariah 1:4)
What?!
How could anyone not pay attention to You, Jesus?!
Everywhere I look I sense Your Presence, see Your stunning handiwork.
If I look up in the sky
You are there.
If I take a walk in the woods
You are there.
When I look into the eyes of someone I love
You are there.
Even when I close my eyes
especially when I close my eyes
You are there.
But that’s not all.
How could anyone in his or her right mind dare to ignore You?
Don’t they understand who You Are?
Don’t they understand what You can do?
Don’t they understand You hold their very next breath in Your hands?
Oh.
They don’t listen to You…
for the same reason I haven’t in the past.
O God.
by Your mercy
never again.

Nov 18, 2009, 9:15 amHA,I know how frustrated I get when my little nephew will not listen to me,let alone Gods people not listening to Him.Over and over Gods compassion and deep love for His people would be there to uplift and forgive them.It seemed that Moses spent more time in the dirt,begging forgiveness for the sins of the people than He did standing.( In Jesus ) Gary.
