Lazaroo – Friday, June 24, 2011
Jun 24, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep reverence:
“On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet…”
(Revelation 1:10)
Oh, Jesus.
Your voice.
Sometimes like the sound of rushing waters
at other times a voice behind
by Your blood
in the Person of the Holy Spirit deep within me
through the pages of my Bible
with the voice of relative, friend or stranger sent by You
pleading my case with Your Father in my defense
in a gentle whisper
but this time loud, piercing, commanding –
like a trumpet.
Distinctly different each time
depending on the circumstances
on the message You’re delivering
on the person to whom You’re speaking
but always unmistakably You.
A lot of people have thought they were hearing Your voice
and been wrong.
But something tells me
nobody to whom You actually speak
will ever fail to finally realize
it’s You.

Amen .. and to feel His voice and have the courage to do what His voice leads us to do. And do we? If not .. How can we be such cowards .. when our Savior showed us such courage.
