Lazaroo – Saturday, November 24, 2012

Nov 24, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with laser-focused intensity:

“How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame?”
(Psalms 4:2)

Everything that exists comes from You, Jesus.

Everything and everyone has a purpose.

You gave us the gift of language to worship You, to communicate with and encourage each other.

When we use our tongues to curse, belittle and lie…

we turn Your glory into shame.

You invented the vast variety of sexual expression as a celebration of marriage between man and woman.

When we have sex outside the covenant of male-female marriage…

we turn Your glory into shame.

You gave us the ability to create a monetary system for the orderly exchange of goods and services.

When we love money, make it our god, hurt others to get more of it…

we turn Your glory into shame.

You made me to bring glory to You!

May I never turn Your glory into shame.
