Lazaroo – Monday, April 29, 2013
1 comment, Apr 29, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in triumphant faith:
“This is what the LORD says: ‘Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be cut off and pass away.’”
(Nahum 1:12)
If no one else stands with me
You and I can get ‘er done, Jesus!
If everyone is against me –
except You –
they’re toast!
Whatever You say
goes.
Whoever opposes You
goes.
So given all this, what’s my conclusion?
I really don’t have to worry about popularity contests, do I?
Some of Your greatest prophets were
hated
rejected
ignored
despised.
I’d be a fool to run my life by asking:
WWPT – “What Will People Think?”
WWJD – What Would Jesus Do? – isn’t bad.
It’s definitely an improvement.
But it’s not quite there, is it?
There’s something better than trying to guess what You would do.
Since I have 24/7 access to You…
why wouldn’t I just ask?!
NWJ
“Now What, Jesus?”

Pastor,
Apr 29, 2013, 11:59 amthank you for a richly written lazaroo. It’s nice to know others relate. But more importantly, I now know how to respond to those situations in a way that reflects Jesus. thank you!
