Lazaroo – Saturday, March 24, 2012

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with renewed energy and hope:
“Trouble will not come a second time.”
(Nahum 1:9)
Thank You for this promise to them, Jesus.
When your people heard You were going to stop this powerful city from ever troubling them again, they had to be thrilled beyond measure.
But that’s not Your promise to me, is it?
Trouble has come on me repeatedly.
In fact, that may be the hardest thing I face:
trouble after trouble after trouble
again and again and again.
When the first wave hits, I call on You for help –
and You’re there!
Together we fight back
pay prices
do whatever it takes
and experience sweet victory!
But while the words of thanks are still in my mouth
another problem hits
followed by another
and another.
Overwhelmed, I just want to quit.
Then I realize You want me to keep calling on You
so I can experience victory
after victory
after victory.

Marie Says:
After reading the last sentence this morning I would leave it off. Because Jesus might say what I want for one … what is that to you. Thankfully He works with us as unique individuals and we all have our unique victories to accomplish.
