Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with excuseless gratitude:

“This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles…”
(Hebrews 2:3-4)

We like proof, don’t we, Jesus?

I’m no exception.
I need it, too.

In part, it’s because too many people
have lied to me too many times.

Even more dangerous are well-meaning people who sincerely believe what they’re telling me –

which just happens to be wrong.

Their eyes and body language don’t give away their error
because they’re absolutely convinced they’re telling the truth.

But when it comes to the all-important issue of whether I’ll spend eternity in heaven or hell

I refuse to entertain liars.
I have no patience with people who don’t check facts.

That’s why I’m so grateful for Your Bible witnesses:

men and women of absolute integrity
who demanded the same proof

I require.
