Lazaroo – Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Allow your heart to fill with gratitude, as You pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.”
(Genesis 2:9)
I love this about You, Jesus!
I can’t thank You enough for the way You create.
You love variety!
You could have made everything the same.
But You didn’t!
You draw on every color of the rainbow
every shape and size –
every height, width and depth.
You care what I think!
You could have thought only of Your own tastes.
You could have designed everything solely to suit yourself.
But You didn’t!
You created everything with me in mind.
When I take the time to gaze at what You’ve made
You want me to like it.
You want it to move me.
And as if all that weren’t enough…
You want it to taste good!
You
are
amazing.

So beautiful Steve, Thanks for reminding us of God’s beauty. This Lazaroo reminds me of what inspired me to write that poem I sent you one day. “How Lovely Do You Paint Dear God”
