Lazaroo – Saturday, July 10, 2010

Pray this Lazaroo out loud, with utter self-awareness:
“But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
(Job 1:11)
Would I do that to You, Jesus?
If You allowed Satan to test me as he did Job –
if You wrecked my health
killed the people I love most
stripped me bare of everything I own
allowed my remaining friends to gather around me
point their fingers at me, judge me harshly
and repeatedly insist it was all my fault
if my own spouse mocked me for still believing in You
told me to curse You and die
would I turn my back on You because You had “turned Your back” on me?
Or would I pass the test?
How much of my worship is based on what You do for me
rather than on unconditional love
because of who You are?

Lady B. Says:
Ken, my friend we all have been in the fire for some reason or other and we didn’t like the “HEAT”. Just like Job we to must declare the goodness of God. We must remember that we like the Hebrew boys have the Lord in the flames with us. We are never alone and when the “test”
Jul 10, 2010, 3:18 amis over we can thank God again and again for the victory.
Satan’s radar screen is a must for all Christians because
if Satan is not bothering you at all you might want to consider to whom “do really serve” as the True Master
of your life. What better way to have the assurance of God
when you are in the “HEAT”. Your level of trust and dependence goes up and adds to one’s Great Faith”. It shows up every time. Have you Ken consider all the times that you were being buffed by Satan and YOU survive? One of my favorite scripture is this one Ken:
I Corinthians 10:13
“There has no temptation taken you but such as is com-
mon to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temp-
tation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Now what do you say to that Ken!!
