Lazaroo – Tuesday, July 6, 2010

Open your heart and pour out the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God:
“…because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests.”
(Nehemiah 2:8)
O Jesus!
What would I do without Your gracious hand upon me?
Time and time again
You have gone before me
made a way for me
where no way existed.
You have created for me
streams in dry land
oases in the desert
ideas in my blank mind
friends in hostile crowds
good news in the midst of heartache
encouragement when I felt like giving up.
I often thank You for being so good to me
but not nearly often enough!
Sometimes my mind is so stuck on the one, two or three crises I’m facing
that I completely ignore the ten thousands of blessings
with which You shower me every day.
But I won’t make that mistake today.
Today I will notice
and pour out to You my heartfelt thanks.

Lady B. Says:
Why is it so hard to pour out our Heart felt thanks? We say
Jul 06, 2010, 2:09 amGod is good yet sometimes our actions say something different.I’m so glad that God isn’t like some of us that he loves us in spite of ourselves. Our giving God thanks should not be a “Burger King” way.Our true heartfelt thanks should be about who God really is to you. We must daily operate in the thankful mold of things!! Don’t you think!
