Lazaroo – Friday, May 7, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, filled with hope:
“Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.”
(Psalms 1:5)
Help me picture this, Jesus –
because right now, everything seems upside-down.
Except for a handful of exceptions
the wrong people are on top.
Worldwide, those who defy You hold positions of wealth, fame and power
while many of those who follow You are scorned, shoved aside, persecuted.
But You have made us a promise:
There is coming a day when the vast throng of Your people will stand before You.
Filled with wonder by Your majesty, we will sing praises to You and shout for joy!
While those who once shook their fists in Your face and laughed at Your people
will feel their knees buckle at the sight of You on Your great white throne…unable to stand.
On that day and forever after
everything will be right side-up.

Kelli Richter Says:
I have to remind myself that my rewards will be in heaven, that gives me hope for the present. It is hard sometimes to see people who take Gods name in vain be successful and prosperous.
