Lazaroo – Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy fear:

“…the wicked…are like chaff that the wind blows away.”
(Psalms 1:4)

I needed this, Jesus.

When I see the wicked through my eyes, they look bright, happy, carefree, successful.

They appear to be having a blast

while enjoying all those things forbidden to me.

But when I look at them through the clear reality of Your eyes

they’re nothing more than dry, scaly, worthless, useless, inedible

chaff

the residue of what’s left
after everything good and useful has been salvaged.

Even now

Your winnowing fork is in Your hand
You are about to clear Your threshing floor
You are about to gather Your wheat into Your barn

and burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

In one stunning instant

You will rebuke them
Your holy angel will sweep them away in a desert whirlwind.

And You’ve given me Your Word:

When You do it

I’ll see it.

What a promise from the Lord ! One day the righteous shall shall be forever changed, in an instant, the blink of an eye. We shall be in the prescense of our Savior and never again shall there be tears of pain. Never again shall there be want, never again shall there be darkness for the Glory of the Lord shall be our light. Never again shall we be in the prescense of ,or, shall we be tempted by sin. The wicked shall be no more and we will have no remembrance of them.
    What a day………
