Lazaroo – Monday, March 1, 2010
1 comment, Mar 01, 2010
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being:
“I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers…”
(Philemon 1:4)
That’s exactly what I want to pack into my prayers, Jesus –
thanksgiving.
I know You’ve given me the right and the privilege to ask You for anything.
After all…
You love me
You can do anything
You hear me, as I pray my heart out according to Your will and Your Word.
But I don’t want to be that person who always wants something from You.
I don’t want every prayer I pray to be
“gimme.”
I want You to look forward to hearing from me
I want You to enjoy me.
I want You to hear from my own lips that I know for a fact
that every single day I spend on this earth
You are infinitely better to me than I deserve.
Thank You, Jesus!
Thank You!
Thank You!
Thank You!

I was just telling my Mom last night that I was having a lot of stress and anxiety about different things and that I was having trouble calming down. When I saw the Lazaroo today and specifically Philippians 4:6-7 it really spoke to me. Thank you so much.
