Lazaroo – Monday, December 14, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with fervid faith:
“The men listed above by name were leaders of their clans. Their families increased greatly…”
(1Chronicles 4:38)
May I ask You a question, Jesus?
Why do some families grow…
while others stay the same…shrink…even disappear?
Is it the leaders You place among them?
Do some of them exercise their leadership gift and cause their families to thrive
while others fail to pay the price of leadership
and cost their families the greatness that might have been?
Or is it more complex than that?
Some of Your greatest leaders have experienced
heartache
rejection
shame
seeing little or nothing of what this world calls “success.”
Others were defiantly sinning against You
even while their “families” were growing.
Maybe it’s not true that “everything rises and falls on leadership.”
Maybe the way followers follow
matters as much as the way leaders lead.
Lead me, LORD!
…and I will faithfully follow You.

Greetings; What a time for this lazaroo. Familys gathering in honor of You Jesus, during this holiday Christmas season. What is it Jesus that brings about Your Grace and blessings to “these”leaders? Is it that their hearts are in Your hands and their hope in You? When Ilook at the leaders in my family,I look for faith and hope in You Jesus. Thank you Jesus-Thank you.
