Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with humble awareness:
“Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear.”
(Luke 1:11-12)
I don’t know how I would respond to seeing one of Your angels, Jesus.
I guess that depends on the angel.
He might choose to appear to me with a display of such majesty and power
that my knees would buckle and I would fall on my face in stark terror.
Or He might choose to show up in my life with such subtlety
that I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between him and a human being.
I’m not sure which scares me the most.
O God!
Please draw me so close to You
that whether or not I recognize the angels You send to me
my behavior will bring honor to You.

Nov 25, 2009, 9:10 amAwesome Lazaroo! Especially Hebrews 2:2-3. What an “attitude awareness”moment. If we all carried the attitude that at any moment we would be in the presence af an angel,what a difference it would make in the world!!! We would be much more kinder to each other and way more willing to give than take.What a way to “enter” the Thanks Giving Season. The Blessings of Jesus to you and yours.( In Jesus ) Gary.
