Lazaroo – Tuesday, November 3, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with bottomless trust:
“…you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even though they are strangers to you.”
(3 John 1:5)
That’s a pretty deep level of maturity, Jesus.
There was a time not so long ago when I thought I was going the extra mile
because I occasionally did something nice for the people in my life.
It requires even more of me to serve my friends and family on some kind of consistent basis.
But to faithfully serve total strangers
day after day
week after week
month after month
year after year
all because they belong to You?
That’s asking a lot.
But not too much.
You’ve done more for me than I can even begin to put into words.
Far more than I have any idea.
Which leaves me with only one question:
Who is the next total stranger You want me to serve?

Gary Weerts Says:
Greetings; This verse speaks of “Christian”brothers (as strangers).Never the less,”HEB 13:2 speaks of much the same, with an added surprise;ANGELS. This would keep my attention up, and cause me to “check” my attitude while dealing with strangers in the Brotherhood as well as outside the Brotherhood. Gary.
ps.God Bless you and yours.
