Lazaroo – Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy anticipation:
“…to the church that meets in your home”
(Philemon 1:2)
I love being reminded that Your Church can meet in someone’s home, Jesus.
There doesn’t have to be a hundred or a thousand of us to be a church.
In fact, You promised that even when there are just two or three of us gathered together in Your Name…
there You are
with us.
It can be a small group of believers organized by my church.
But it doesn’t have to be.
It can be an informal gathering of Christians in my home
in someone else’s living room
in an office building before work
in a local restaurant over lunch
or in an underground hut in a Communist country halfway around the world.
Please don’t ever let me confuse the big, wonderful buildings You have given some of us
with the precious people inside
who are Your Church.

I THINK THAT THIS VERSE IS SO COOL! WHEN I THINK OF ALL THE MEGA CHURCHES VS. THE CHURCH WITH ONLY A FEW GATHERED IN THE NAME OF JESUS,IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE SIZE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT NOR THE AMOUNT OF GODS LOVE 4 HIS PEOPLE. THERE IS JUST AS MUCH BEAUTY IN A SMALL DWELLING AS THERE IS IN A MEGA CHURCH. WHERE 2 OR 3 GATHER……………………AMEN!!
