Lazaroo – Saturday, October 17, 2009

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo out loud:
“Then the king became furious and burned with anger.”
(Esther 1:12)
Sooner or later I knew You would confront me about this, Jesus.
My anger.
Even though I usually feel as justified in my anger as that king, who was mad at his wife
The truth is…
I don’t have a right to be angry.
I’ve been in the wrong way too many times
to strike a pose of holier-than-thou indignation.
Besides…more times than I care to admit, I get angry because I’ve
not had enough sleep
failed to get my own way
made some stupid mistake
had my schedule interrupted
been forced to reap a seed I’ve sown
misunderstood what was really going on
been caught doing something I shouldn’t.
Bottom line?
I can’t keep giving into this.
I’ve got to get a grip.
Because I know my anger
does not bring about the righteous life You desire.

Greetings, I am still getting 2 lazaroo’s. But maybe we better not stir the soup 4 fear of losing them again.
Anger has been a snare in my life, more so when I use 2 drink. Now days I try 2 keep up a defense in Jesus 2 stay on top of being snared by satan ‘via’ offenses ect…
