Lazaroo – Thursday, September 3, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with over-the-top trust:
“I will save them—not by bow, sword or battle, or by horses and horsemen, but by the LORD their God.”
(Hosea 1:7)
I know it doesn’t always work this way, Jesus.
Sometimes You are quite happy to save us by working through our
bows
battles
horses
swords
horsemen
or…through my
family
friends
doctors
education
experience
But sometimes You use none of these. Why? Maybe because they’re just not
fast enough
wise enough
close enough
strong enough
At other times it may be because
I’ve become dependent on them…
…instead of You.
Forgive me for those times – all too often! – when I forget that no matter what You use or through whom You work…
it’s all You.
Most of all, thank You for every single time You’ve saved me!
Including those times when Your hand was invisible…
…and I didn’t even know I needed to be saved.

Hello again, I’m loving these Lazaroo posts. Just one thing though, when I miss a day I don’t seem to be able to go back and see it. It’s a real shame! Maybe an error? I click page 2 but it goes on to the same page…God bless you! Phoebe
