You’ve made it clear, Jesus. You want
children to obey their parents
wives to submit to their husbands
husbands to be willing to lay down their lives for their wives
Christians to submit to one another
employees to submit to their bosses
church members to submit to their leadership
citizens to submit to their government
Godly people to submit to the ungodly
and all of us to submit to You.
But You make it just as clear there are times – no matter what the cost – when we dare not submit to those You have placed over us.
Give me the courage to submit wholeheartedly when I should…
…and to defy any authority that orders me to defy You.

Aug 12, 2009, 5:30 pmWhen we truely understand what reverance to CHRIST is and what it means. Then we will have no problem being subject to one another.
Before marriage the two should have realized whether or not they were going in the same direction, the purpose of their lives were simular to nearly equal. The husband teaches the wife without destroying her individuality how to comfort him. Lavish love on your wife to the point that she will be happy to be subject to you. Husbands don’t take your role as head to the extreme. Follow the footsteps of JESUS. He never once became abusive or said an unkind word towards the people. Your wife is an extension of you.
The governing civil authorities exist by GODs appointment. Remember civil authorities are not a dreed to those who obey the law but to the law breaker.
Respect and obey all those who have authority over you, your Supervisor, Manager, Pastor, Police, President and so on. By obeying them you make it easier on them.
Live free because you are, don’t go overboard to the point you find yourself involved in wickedness because of your own self righteousness. Respect ALL people,remember that ALL people are made in the image of GOD not just you.
Love your friends but love your enemies more, you will destroy that cancer that caused such pain from your enemy because the more that is put on you, the more you will forgive and bless.
Go to church, be among the saints, refresh yourself, you are in a sanctified and consecrated building where you will serve the LORD with your brothers and sister.
To the person who had a father near on earth a daddy that disciplined, taught, loved, cared and sheltered you. You will understand when GOD our ABBA DADDY disiplines us with love and care for us just as our earthly daddy did or does. But to those who had not had this experience, it is wonderful to know that NOW you have a DADDY who will never leave you nor forsake you. Who will be and give to you all that you missed and more.
How do we submit to GOD? Easy put sin on display, when you are approached via another person call it what it is and watch it flee. But don’t do it softly make a spectacle of yourself. When you have an evil thought speak the word of GOD. Your brain and your mouth don’t operate equally. Your mind stops to hear what your mouth is saying.
We disobey ANYONE who has authority over us when they want us to do what is UNLAWFUL on earth on in heaven.
