Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with Banzai belief:
“This went on year after year.”
(1 Samuel 1:7)
That’s what gets to me the most, Jesus.
It’s not the difficulties that come and go.
It’s the ones that stay.
And stay.
And stay.
Those are the ones that most test my faith.
Those are the ones that most tempt me to doubt.
Those are the ones Satan proudly parades in front of me.
They wear me out.
They take their toll on me.
They rise up before me like immovable mountains.
They make me think You don’t hear me when I call to You for relief.
But You do hear my cry!
You will not forsake Your obedient children who call out to You day and night.
Soon.
In Your time.
I know You will split the skies with the glory of Your Presence!
And You will come.

Sometimes it is we who need to have crucify our repetitive downfalls. Sometimes God is ahead of us. Lord, speed me up to Your time when needed, and give me patience when I try to get ahead of You.
