Lazaroo – Monday, June 8, 2009
2 comments, Jun 08, 2009Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total transparency:
“At his appointed season he brought his word to light.”
(Titus 1:3)
Waiting for your appointed season is one of the hardest things I do, Jesus.
Especially when there’s a wrong that needs to be righted…
…when it’s something I long for…
…when a person I love is in terrible pain.
But forgive me for thinking You are slow to act!
You’re never late.
You’re never early.
You’re always perfectly – exquisitely – on time.
You understand every factor in the equation. You plumb the depths of what is hidden from my eyes.
You know the end from the beginning.
If I knew what You know, I would be grateful beyond words that my times are in Your hands.
Holy Spirit, please remind me that even on the rare occasion that I know exactly what should be done…
…You alone know when.

You’re right on, Jeff – Lazaroo is definitely about total surrender to Jesus.
