(2 Corinthians 1:3)
You’re the God of ALL comfort?
Every comfort I have ever received…every comfort I am now enjoying…every comfort I will ever experience?
I’ve never thought of You this way, LORD.
You care about my comfort?!
You design my comfort – taking into account my personality, my preferences – even my moods.
You know exactly how much comfort I need to be at my best…and when I’m in danger of getting…too comfortable.
Good grief. You care about my comfort more than I do.
And here all this time I’ve battled guilt feelings because I thought I was too concerned about my own comfort.
O Jesus! This means I never again have to worry about my own comfort.
You’ve got me covered.

Lord, please let me trust you to provide the comfort I need and not insist on my own version of it.
