You were there in the beginning, Jesus.

Before anything was…

You Are.

You are the exact image of the invisible God.

You created everything there is.

     Everything on earth.

     Everything in the universe.

     Everything I can see.

     And everything I can’t see:

             Molecules
             Atoms
             Protons
             Electrons
             Neutrons
             Up quarks
             Down quarks 
             Gluons

And all the rest.

You are the only reason these invisible building blocks of all matter don’t fly apart.  Right now – this very moment – You are willing them together.

Out of these incomprehensibly tiny particles, You created the first man, the first woman and every other person who has ever lived.

Including me.

You created all of us for Yourself.

Including me.

Which means the sole reason I exist…

     …is for You.
