Lazaroo – Friday, March 13, 2009

Mar 13, 2009 I Lazaroo.

“The Israelites asked the LORD, ‘Who will be the first to go up and fight for us?’ The LORD answered, ‘Judah is to go; I have given the land into their hands.’”
(Judges 1:1-2)

That’s the relationship I long to have with You, Jesus.

I want to be so aware of Your Presence in me that before I make a move, I ask You which move You want me to make.

But even more! – I long to be so close to You that when You answer, I will hear You as clearly as these Israelites did.

You told Judah You had given a specific section of land into their hands.

Show me my next move, LORD!

O God!  What victory have You given into my hands?

Pat, I loved your comment. I think there’s a very real sense in which every Christian I know is “in recovery.”

    Or needs to be.

I’m proud of you and I’m cheering you on.

being in recovery it is a must to let God be in control, ask him what he wants me to do next, one day at a time.Thank you Lord for victory today!

I have been going through some processes lately that relate to these things we have been discussing. I must be willing to let God define that victory and not get caught up in my definition of it. Obedience + Humility = Peace
