Apr 05, 2009 I Lazaroo.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 1:6)

I have no doubt that You have begun a good work in me, Jesus.

I can’t thank You enough for all the ways – big and small – that You have been drawing me closer and closer to Yourself.

The thing that scares me most is how little I have done with what You have given me.  Sometimes my weaknesses are so overwhelming that I wonder how much longer You will put up with me.

Now I know.

I needed this reminder, Holy Spirit:

That even when I am faithless, You will never leave me, never forsake me, never give up on me until I become everything You have created me to be.

Hallelujah!

Remind me, Lord, that even when my path looks to be a dead end, that You are there to help me complete the journey.

    Steve — Amen ! Amen ! Amen !
“Thank you” are the small words I have been looking for. This is a huge “DUH” moment for me :). I know Jesus is drawing me closer and closer and with all this passion and love I have grown for Him, whilst He patiently waited for this moment in our relationship – how could I ever forget to say Thank You ? You are absolutely right – our weaknesses are so great – and yet He is ALWAYS, ALWAYS here with us.

I hear you, John. Those are definitely the times we need to seek Him even harder. I wish I could say I always do. There’s an old hymn that says:

“Prone to wander, LORD I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above!”

  4. John Tevault Says:

Thank you LORD, for lettin me know this. I feel at times a little faithless, do to life’s daily struggles, but that are the times that I seek the LORD even harder!
