Apr 02, 2009 I Lazaroo.

“Esther continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.”
(Esther 2:20)

Obviously, Esther was the kind of girl every parent dreams of, LORD.  After she left home, she became the kind of woman every parent dreams of.

I haven’t been that good.  From my childhood till now, there have been times when I disobeyed the wholesome principles I received from those You placed over me.

Please forgive me!

There’s nothing I can do about the past.  But from this moment forward, You have given me a new chapter to write.

That’s what I long to do, Jesus!

Have I abandoned any of those early instructions You want me to still follow?  If so, please show me what they are.

With your help, I will build those holy principles into my life.

You are so right, Jeff. Speaking of my own checkered past, He’s the God of the second-billioneth chance!

Thinking back on the comments I have made on this site up till now, it seems I have been somewhat of a buzz kill. However, there is no somberness for me, in this post.

I rejoice everyday that our God is a God of Grace!

“But from this moment forward, You have given me a new chapter to write.”

It is amazing to know that every moment is THIS moment. The Almighty is a God of second chances (and third, fourth, and seventy times seven chances). This unconditional love and grace is overwhelming!

Lord help me to live for you and to never take your grace for granted.

I deeply respect your honesty and humility, John. I’m another one who was taught far better than I’ve lived. God help us both!
