Lazaroo – Monday, April 20, 2009
Apr 20, 2009 I Lazaroo.“The heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
(Ezekiel 1:1)
I know I’m thinking way too big for my britches –
But I would LOVE to see something like that, Jesus!
I can’t help feeling it would thrill me, fill me with wonder, increase my faith. I’m pretty sure it would totally change my life.
But of course, the truth is I have no way of knowing how I would respond to such a sight.
After You showed these visions to Ezekiel, he fell facedown, reacted with bitterness and anger, then spent a week sitting in shock, overwhelmed.
Based on the rest of this amazing book, there’s a terrible responsibility that goes along with getting to see such sights.
Most of us couldn’t handle it.
If I knew the cost, would I still want to see the opened heavens?
