Lazaroo – Monday, June 1, 2009

Jun 01, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in wholehearted exaltation:

“God’s Tent of Meeting was there, which Moses the Lord’s servant had made in the desert.”
(2 Chronicles 1:3)

Just as Moses used to pitch a tent where he could meet you Face to face…Friend to friend…so can I.

Each time I come close to You…You come close to me.

I can meet You anytime…anywhere.

O God!

May I never take this miracle for granted.

As I now enter the Tent of Meeting You have created for me…

…remind me what it cost You to make this possible.

Just as each priest who entered that Tent had to admit his sins…bathe…put on sacred garments…be anointed…and offer incense up to You…

I now confess my sins.

Wash me!

Clothe me with YOURSELF, Jesus!

Anoint this sacred time we have together.

And may my words rise as fragrant incense before You.

Even whe the world is cruel and you want to hide away, it is comforting to know that you can hide away with the Creator of the Universe and know that He is there, cares, and will offer you what you need.
