Lazaroo – Sunday, June 7, 2009

Jun 07, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“Two of the king’s officers…became angry and conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther.”
(Esther 2:21-22)

No one likes a tattletale, Jesus.

You warn me to mind my own business and not to meddle in other people’s affairs.

Besides, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.  Even what I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears are not always what they seem to be on the surface.

But sometimes You allow me to discover something I dare not keep to myself.

Even at great personal risk.

O God!  Give me Your wisdom!

Show me when to open my mouth…and when to keep it shut.

Help me hold my tongue when I must remain silent.

But fill me with Your courage…

…when You call me to speak.
