Just as You hovered over the deep, dark waters, Holy Spirit…

…hover over me.

Watch over me on my journey of life.  Shine Your light on me as I walk through this darkness.

Spread Your banner of love over me wherever I go. 

Do for me everything You have promised.

Teach me in the way You want me to go.  Counsel me step by step through the day, so my foot does not slip.  Protect me from all harm at night.

Rise upon me and make Your glory appear over me.

Save me.

Always be with me.

Take great delight in me and rejoice over me with singing!

And when my heart grows anxious within me, Jesus…

…quiet me with Your love.
