Lazaroo – Friday, August 24, 2012

Aug 24, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in utter dependence on God:

“…the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. She said, ‘Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they had come from. At dusk, when it was time to close the city gate, the men left. I don’t know which way they went. Go after them quickly. You may catch up with them.’ (But she had taken them up to the roof and hidden them under the stalks of flax she had laid out on the roof.) So the men set out in pursuit of the spies…”
(Joshua 2:4-7)

I’ve headed out on a lot of errands just like that, Jesus –

looking for someone who wasn’t there
working toward a goal I’ll never reach

investing in somebody who doesn’t want it
nearly as badly as I do.

Wasted time.

I can’t stand it!

Except that when it’s for You…

it’s never lost.
