I love this about You, Jesus!

You’re Permanent.
Your Word holds true for all time.

Nothing else in my world feels that way.

I enjoy the “latest and greatest” as much as anyone
But the problem with the “latest and greatest”

is that it’s here today
gone tomorrow –

to be replaced by someone else’s idea of what’s

“latest and greatest.”

I don’t think I buy into that anymore.

Just because something’s the “latest”
doesn’t make it the “greatest.”

Sometimes what people are so frantically attempting to replace
is far superior to the thing somebody thought up just yesterday.

That may not be true with technology

but it sure is true when it comes to the eternal principles of life.

You aren’t the “latest.”

You’re the First.

And still the Best.
