Lazaroo – Friday, June 8, 2012

Jun 08, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with outrageous adoration:

“‘In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations,’ says the LORD Almighty.”
(Malachi 1:11)

That day is coming, Jesus.

I believe it.

But I don’t want to wait for it to arrive.

Because I love You with everything in me
because You deserve it – and so much more –

I want to make it happen now.

Back in the day, You told Your people how much fragrant incense meant to You –

telling them to mix it with most of their offerings.

Thousands of years later, You revealed why:

It reminds You of the prayers of Your people.

Every time I open my mouth to talk with You

praying with absolute sincerity

in transparent, no-holds-barred purity of heart

it’s like sweet-smelling fragrance to You
bringing You joy.

That’s all I need to know

to bring it.

Exodus 30:7-8; Leviticus 16:12-13; Matthew 2:11; Luke 1:8-11; Philippians 2:14-15; Philippians 4:8; 1 Timothy 5:22; Revelation 5:8; Revelation 8:3-4

What is Lazaroo?

That is absolutely amazing, Sherry…and so much like God!

Last night as I was praying I got a mental picture of my prayers wafting up to God as if they were clouds of sweet-smelling smoke, and I got a sense that He was pleased with that, and that He loves being surrounded by this “smoke” when His people offer up our praises.

    This today you posted this.

Don’t you just LOVE how He does that???
