Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in openmouthed awe:

“As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.”
(Mark 1:10)

I’ve seen people baptized before, Jesus.

But never like this.

I’ve witnessed more than one breathtaking view of the sky

But I’ve never – ever – seen the sky torn open.

Your invisible Presence is nothing short of amazing, Holy Spirit

But I’ve never seen You coming down from heaven like a dove in bodily form

and lighting on Someone
to show Your approval.

There’s so much more to You than I’ve ever seen!

I know I can’t handle all there is to see of You.

No one can.

If You showed me Your face, it would kill me.

Unlike Moses, I don’t even deserve to see Your back.

But I beg You –

Please.

Show up in my life!
