I don’t want parting gifts from You, Jesus.

I don’t want You ever to leave me!

No gift is worth that.

The gift I desire above all
is Your Presence.

You are my gift.
Time with You.

Just knowing You love me
enjoy spending time with me

No one understands me like You.
No one cares for me like You.

Everyone else’s involvement in my life is colored

by their needs and concerns
by their experience
by their perceptions
by their agendas
by their abilities
by their limited resources.

Not so with You.

You have no limits –
of any kind.

You know exactly what is best for me.
You have the power to deliver it.

Your perception isn’t merely Your opinion.
It’s reality.

So please.
No parting gifts.

Go whenever and wherever You must
but while You go

stay.
