Lazaroo – Monday, June 30, 2014

Jun 30, 2014 I Lazaroo.

Ask God to open your eyes, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
(1 Thessalonians 2:8)

Most of us start out automatically loving people already in our lives, Jesus

parents, relatives, family friends.

But love that lasts needs something a little stronger than that.

The people who become dearest to us –
those with whom we wish to share our very lives –

are the ones who’ve earned it by standing with us

when those we thought were friends
were nowhere to be found.

Help me be such a friend

to others.

Joanne and I speak to the inmates in jails and prisons about their friends – where are your friends now? In the end – it is only Jesus that will be at your side!
