Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total transparency:

“Just as we fully obeyed Moses, so we will obey you. Only may the LORD your God be with you as he was with Moses.”
(Joshua 1:17)

What an incredibly wise cry to come from those people’s lips, Jesus!

“May the person who is leading me…

be led by You.”

So maybe I’d better discover the answer to that question

for me.

Who are the people who are leading and influencing me, Jesus?

What pastors and teachers am I sitting under?
Who are my friends?
Who are the people creating my intake –

music
TV shows
concerts
books
magazines
blogs
social media –

that are shaping my thoughts and emotions?

Seriously.

Who are these people following?

You?

If so…

that’s great.
I’ve chosen wisely.

But if not…

what am I doing to guard my heart, decisions, emotions and mind

while I’m under their influence?
