Lazaroo – Monday, March 28, 2011

Mar 28, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Ask God for supernatural understanding, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time…”
(2 Timothy 1:9)

This one’s beyond my ability to grasp, Jesus.

But something tells me there’s more than enough

love
mystery
power

secreted in these 13 words

to rock my world
to give me cause to worship You for the rest of my days.

Please rise up within me, Holy Spirit!
Help me get a little more of this amazing truth into my head

and into my heart.

All I’ve known is “time.”
For me, “time” has always existed.

But in these 13 words You’re revealing to me

that in the eternity
before time began

You knew me
You knew I would need You to save me

from myself
from Satan
from my sins

and You decided
that on the day I asked You to save me

Your answer would be

“Yes.”

There are few pastors who are bold enough to even tip toe into this subject. For those who read this, I would encourage reading the entire chapter of Romans 9 along with the other scripture references. Put your spiritual “hip waders” on and ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart and ears to what he has to say.
