Lazaroo – Monday, September 13, 2010

Sep 13, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being:

“…he must be…not overbearing…”
(Titus 1:7)

I pray this first for myself, Jesus:

May I never be overbearing.

May I never misuse any authority You give me

to take advantage of the weak
to shut down someone who needs to be heard
to be a lid to someone’s growth
to power up on somebody who’s made an honest mistake
to stifle creativity
to smother someone who needs room to breathe
to lead out of anger
to rob someone of their God-given freedom
to get my own way

And as I plant the right seed

may that be the harvest I reap!

Please don’t allow those to whom I report

to be overbearing with me!

Cause my leaders to be

encouraging
patient
loving
thoughtful
kind
supportive
helpful
considerate
tender
respectful

And when I blow it

again

Give them Your heart

to grant me another chance.

I’m so glad that we’re given another chance, then another chance, then another chance. . .
I love that His mercies are new everyday and that the yoke to which we are called is light
