Lazaroo – November 1, 2011

Nov 01, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in humble, sober anticipation:

“…the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home – these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.”
(Jude 1:6)

Angels are so powerful, Jesus –

oh, not compared to You –
but compared to me.

Even those who rebelled against You retain their incredible power.

They’ve wreaked terrible havoc ever since –

in my life
in the lives of those I love.

In fact, some of them have crossed a line – even for rebellious angels:

For millennia, they’ve been chained in darkness
waiting…waiting…waiting to be judged for their heinous crimes…

waiting to be judged…

by me

I was created a little lower than the angels.

But one day in heaven, I’ll be transformed
I’ll become like You

and those fallen angels who have caused me such heartbreak
will be brought into my courtroom

to stand before me.
