Lazaroo – Saturday, August 15, 2009

Aug 15, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo out loud:

“To Philemon our dear friend and fellow worker…”
(Philemon 1:1)

Thank You for the friends You’ve given me, Jesus – friends of all kinds.

You’ve given me

casual friends
intermittent friends

helpful friends
interesting friends

funny friends
frustrating friends

But for all that, very few dear friends.

Which is good.

Dear friends take a lot of time.

Thank You, too, for the people who work alongside me.

Some of them are a lot of help.
Others are very little help.

Some are a joy.
Others are a pain.

I can always count on some.
Others I can’t count on at all.

But that’s okay.

If it weren’t for the poor workers, I’d probably take the good ones for granted.

Rarest of all are the people in my life who are

dear friends

and

fellow workers.

Great God in heaven!

May I be such a friend

to others.
