Aug 31, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with humility…and gratitude:
“He asked the king’s officer, ‘Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?’”
(Daniel 2:15)
Great question, Jesus:
Before I react to something I don’t like
it’s not a bad idea to ask, “Why?”
People usually have a reason for what they say and do.
If the reason isn’t very good
maybe You can help me show that to them
get them to change their minds.
If the reason is good
maybe You can help them show that to me
help me change my mind!
But there’s one “why” question I don’t think anyone can answer:
Why do You love me so much?

Yes prayers are of benefit for all. Such love for our Lord is because we know that someday .. He will give us all the answers and we will be filled with joy. We will know (without a smidgen of that sin of doubt) that all of our mental gymnastics & doubt that took place on earth about the whys were for naught. Our Savior had everything and HIs children in His hands .. watching and helping us as we made our way back to Him.
