Lazaroo – Saturday, December 26, 2009

Dec 26, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with laser-focused intensity:

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”
(Psalms 1:3)

I long to be that kind of tree, Jesus.

Dry spells are hard on me

not to mention those who have to live and work around me.

I want to plant myself alongside Your crystal clear streams of living water

Your Word
Your Spirit

healing me…changing me… growing me…maturing me…deepening me…tendering me…

protecting me… strengthening me…blessing me…prospering me…enriching me…

in ways that truly matter here on earth

and throughout eternity

empowering me to produce the fruit of Your Spirit in every season –

love
joy
peace
patience
kindness
goodness
faithfulness
gentleness
self-control

truth
righteousness
good work

the transformed souls of men, women boys and girls

who one day will go to heaven

because of Your miraculous work

through me.

  1. Norm Hunter Says:

We are seeing in the civilized World around us, society in gereral, and [in the last 10-20 years– especially the last 5, years even in our own country], a slow but sure change, — a weakening and changing from: (first, Christ centered), (to “neutral”) and (now even to an anti-Christian position).

Today’s verse, and intro-spective prayer are beautiful reminders of the future for those who have accepted Christ, seek His will, and although human, to the best of their ability seek to follow God’s Word.

God’s word (as a whole) shows us that we will SEE that those promises in Psalms and through out the Bible, are true-IF — 1) we are focusing our desires that are being led by Him- 2.)and that His promises will be full-filled in His timing for His purpose.

We are not always be able to “see” His hand at work, but his promises are true.

Holding to our faith is the only answer. — All things are posssible with our God.

All of Psalm 37, especially verse #4 and #25 bring great comfort in this day and age.

(Thank you Jesus for Your Birth, Your suffering for our sins, Your Death, Your Resurrection, and your Saving Grace. Amen)
