Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in wholehearted exaltation:

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
(Genesis 1:3)

That would have been an awesome sight, LORD – to go from worldwide darkness…to the dawning of Your light!

It happened again –

when You selected Abraham to be the father of Your chosen people, the Jews…

and again –

when You rescued Your people from Egypt and gave them Your Law, through Moses…

and again –

when You sent Your only Son Jesus to die on the cross
to pay for the sins of all who believe
and to be raised to life again, as God over all!

It happened again, Jesus –

when I placed my faith in You alone, as my LORD and Savior.

And it will happen for me once more –

when in heaven, my faith

becomes sight.
