Lazaroo – Saturday, June 26, 2010

Jun 26, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained joy:

“Solomon has taken his seat on the royal throne.”
(1 Kings 1:46)

I can only imagine the pomp, majesty and excitement of that moment, Jesus.

What if I had been in the city on that day to hear the sound of the trumpet?

Would the roar of the crowd have caused my heart to beat faster?
Would I have been amazed when the ground shook beneath my feet?

I wonder how it felt when the priest anointed Solomon with oil?

But I don’t have to wonder!

Because of my faith in You, my God

I am royalty
I have been anointed by You

There is coming a day when the trumpet will sound
I will hear a great roar from the multitude in heaven
You will cause the ground to shake as never before

And I will be seated with You

on Your throne

to reign with You

forever.

The signs of Our Jesus coming is much closer than we think. I thank the Lord for blessing me with eternal life and for the gift of reigning with Himin the thereafter. Our eternal blessing should bring every Christian closer to God because we will be with God forever! When you think about those who have no hope and where they will be after the church has gone, you really can appreciate what God has done for you here and what he has given us for the hereafter.
