Lazaroo – Saturday, June 27, 2009

Jun 27, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with heartfelt gratitude:

“Now God had caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel.”
(Daniel 1:9)

How many times have You done this for me, Jesus?

How many times have You intervened in my behalf?

How many times have You caused someone

to choose me.

to be kind to me.

to take pity on me.

to act favorably toward me.

to give me one more chance.

to speak encouraging words to me.

How many times was I oblivious to these trophies of Your love because You were lovingly, powerfully – but very quietly – working behind the scenes?

There’s no way I can ever thank You for this, is there?

Not here on this earth.

Not until heaven – when You finally reveal to me the staggering measure of love You showed me every day of my life.

And I fall on my face before You in stunned worship.

There are have been times when I KNEW that God had stepped in for me. How many more times has it happened that I didn’t know, that He didn’t receive my praise for it? I don’t know, but it helps me to pursue anonymity when I have the opportunity to do something for someone else.
